In Magetan, the candidate number 02 will visit and meet with the heads of Islamic boarding schools and santri. The plan is for Prabowo and his entourage to meet with the leaders of the Sabilli Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School in Takeran Village, Magetan.

However, before visiting the Sabilli Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, Prabowo took time to make a pilgrimage to Raden Mas Tumenggung's tomb Ario Soerjo or what Governor Soerjo is familiar with in Kepolorejo Village, Magetan.

"On today's agenda, Mr. Prabowo will visit and visit Sabilli Muttaqin Islamic Boarding School, Magetan. Setyoko explained that Prabowo had long wanted to make a pilgrimage to the grave of Governor Soerjo in Magetan. Because, Prabowo was amazed by the figure of Governor Soerjo who dared to oppose and oppose British colonialism who issued an ultimatum on November 9, 1945 so that the people of Surabaya, East Java surrendered and finally fought November 10, 1945 and won by the people of Surabaya.

"The figure of Governor Soerjo is a role model whose spirit of struggle has inspired Pak Prabowo to fight for the defense of the nation and the state, that's what Pak Prabowo always tells us is the cadre of the Gerindra Party," Setyoko said.

Raden Mas Tumenggung Ario Soerjo, born in Magetan, East Java, July 9, 1898. He died in Bago, Kedunggalar, Ngawi, East Java on September 10, 1948. He was an Indonesian national hero and the first governor of East Java from 1945 to 1948 .

Previously, he served as Regent in Magetan Regency, East Java from 1938 to 1943. After serving as Regent of Magetan, he served as Su Cho Kan Bojonegoro (Resident) in 1943.

Setyoko said, after carrying out a pilgrimage at the grave of Governor Soerjo, Prabowo and his entourage went straight to Sabilli Muttaqin. The plan this afternoon, the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party DPP will also conduct a gathering with leaders, carers and students at the Al Fatah Temboro Magetan Islamic Boarding School.
